William E. Kuehlthau, D.M.D., F.A.G.D. (Kool'-thou)
Affectionately called "Dr. Bill" by his patients and staff members, William E. Kuehlthau, D.M.D., F.A.G.D., has the experience and skills you want in a dentist. He graduated with highest honors from the University of Oregon Dental School in Portland, spent 3 1/2 years of specialized training and dentistry in the United States Air Force and received both the Outstanding General Practice Resident at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois and the USAF Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service at Havre, Montana.
Dr. Kuehlthau is a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In 1984 he received his fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry for completing over 500 hours of continuing dental education, and he continues to be very active in furthering his dental education.
Bill and his family have called Oregon "home" since 1978 when he first opened his dental practice. He and his wife, Susan, have two boys, Adam and Ryan. Outside the dental office you may find them jogging the streets, water skiing in the summer or snow skiing in the winter.

Christine Chin, D.M.D.
Dr. Christine Chin has worked in the dental profession for many years. She graduated with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) degree from Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) in June 1989, and was licensed by the Oregon Board of Dentistry to practice dentistry shortly therafter. Doctor Chin has worked for Cedar Hills Dental Care since 1989, first as an associate dentist, and then she bought in to the practice as a partner. Prior to dental school she worked as a dental assistant and then as a dental hygienist. While at OHSU, Dr. Kuehlthau was one of her instructors. He thought that she would be a perfect fit for his growing dental practice when she graduated from dental school.
Dr. Chin is actively involved in dental study clubs and keeps current on all the latest techniques and procedures. Although she is a general dentist, meaning that she is well versed in all types of dental procedures for adults, she is especially skilled in working with children. Dr. Chin is excellent at making children feel comfortable and safe in the dental setting.
Dr. Chin is married and has two sons, Jared and Adam. Like most moms, her life outside of the office revolves around her family and their numerous activities. Her other interests include gymnastics, genealogy and crafts.
